The WBCA has agreed to not plow the neighborhood at this time.
When snowfall totals officially reach 4”, we receive partial reimbursement. We are well under that total. Last winter we had a 3” snow accumulation with ice mixed in, it was $1,125 out of pocket, and we agreed conditions were significantly worse for that event.
My personal opinion is we must be selective when snow totals are low. This helps avoid spending all of our financial reserves early in the season, and hoping there isn’t a significant snow event before spring breaks. Last winter the board spent their own money to cover expenses in the neighborhood until reimbursement was completed.
Additionally, the state advises the bridge replacement has been pushed to next Monday, January 13th due to the weather. I’ll keep everyone as up to date as possible on this topic as this will be a major event.
