We hope this message finds you well. The WBCA board would like to update our community on our ongoing projects and activities.
As we enter 2024, we kindly remind you to pay your annual dues of $25. These funds are vital for maintaining our neighborhood, including ensuring clear roads during inclement weather. Please note that based on our new by-laws, residents must pay dues to be active members of the Windybush Civic Association. Last week, we completed tree maintenance on Chatham Place, identifying and addressing dead and diseased trees on community land that posed risks to private properties. This addressed concerns expressed by several members of our community. We need community help with clean up and removal of the trees that were dropped. Please join us next Saturday, February 24th, around noon, to assist in clearing the wood and brush left behind. Bring your chainsaws and clippers to help with the task. We would like this to be for residents of Windybush only. It’s mostly ash trees which are excellent for firewood. Feel free to take firewood as needed while supplies last.
Save the date for our next community meeting on Monday, May 13th, at the Windybush Swim Club. Spread the word, bring your concerns, and join us for updates on our ongoing projects. Look out for our April newsletter in your mailbox for more details and updates.
